Social-Emotional Development and Intervention

I have recently completed my Honours Bachelor of Science here at the University of Toronto Mississauga, with a major in Psychology and minors in Biology and Sociology. My interests lie in examining the complex factors that contribute to psychological health and evidence-based practices that aim to improve psychological wellbeing. My experience in the SEDI Lab has enhanced my understanding of human nature through its developmental focus. I have been fortunate to have completed an Independent Research Project under Dr. Malti’s supervision, which examined the relationship between physiological arousal and children’s reports of happy victimizing in contexts of moral transgressions. During my time in the SEDI Lab, I have been able to explore the practical aspect of the field of psychology and have learned a lot from my fellow lab members. I look forward to continue being an active member of the lab through the position of a Research Assistant.
