Social-Emotional Development and Intervention

Children do and say the most peculiar things, which to me, is a perfectly reasonable justification as to why I would like to study them. Childhood is a sensitive stage where one builds personality, behaviours and thoughts integral to later development and functioning. I graduated from Carleton University with a double major in Psychology and Linguistics. What led me to the SEDI Lab is my interest in clinical-developmental psychology. I am interested in child psychopathology and emotional and moral development. I would like to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology and believe that my involvement at this lab is a fitting experience for future graduate studies.
