Laboratory for Social-Emotional Development and Intervention
Research and Knowledge Translation Assistant
After receiving my Hon. B.A. from the University of Toronto, specializing in English with a minor in Sociology, I spent more than ten years in the education and non-profit sector, continuing my education and professional development in different areas including Montessori Education, Family Supports, Community Engagement, and Infant Mental Health.
For the past four years, I worked with the west Mississauga community, facilitating a family supports drop-in program. It was there where I developed a passion for working with families and young children, community building and engagement, and social-emotional development and health. My work here at SEDI weaves many of these experiences together as I assist the laboratory in its commitment to supporting families and practitioners in promoting their children’s social-emotional development, learning, and well-being.
