Laboratory for Social-Emotional Development and Intervention
Manager, Operations and Community Partnerships
Non-Profit Administration, Community Engagement, Knowledge Translation
After receiving my Hon. B.A. from the University of Toronto, specializing in English with a minor in Sociology, I spent more than ten years in the education and early years sector, continuing my education and professional development in different areas including Montessori Education, Family Supports, Community Engagement, and Infant Mental Health. It was while working with families that I developed a passion for community building and engagement and social-emotional development. Prior to joining SEDI Lab, I worked with the west Mississauga community as a facilitator in EarlyON Child and Family Centres and then specialized in community engagement and adult education. I am able to continue my commitment to supporting young children and their families as a member of the Board of Directors at the Family Supports Institute Ontario (2016–present). My work here at the SEDI Lab weaves many of these experiences together as I support our administrative operations, knowledge translation, and community partnership development.
