David Boshra

Research Assistant

I am a third year student double majoring in Psychology and Biology for Health Sciences, and minoring in Education. My interest in child development, and adolescent emotional expression lead me to Dr. Malti’s research where I have learned much about emotions, aggression, and physiological responses to moral transgressions. This summer, I completed a ROP project under the guidance of Dr. Malti. My research project focused on children’s positive emotion regulation in relation to their responses to hypothetical moral transgressions. After having completed this ROP, I remain adamant on building my research experience in the lab in preparation for an eventual pursuit of a Ph.D. in developmental psychology or neuroscience. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in teaching and research where I can contribute to the literature and share what I have learned and experienced whilst facilitating learning in a post-secondary setting.
