Social-Emotional Development and Intervention
Home People Research Publications Teaching Getting Involved
I completed my Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto Mississauga and my Master of Arts in Child Study and Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). As a prospective elementary teacher, I hope to incorporate my knowledge of psychology, child development, exceptionalities and education to create an inclusive classroom which strives on differentiated instruction and evidence-based teaching strategies. I enjoy working with exceptional students the most, and as a result, the majority of my teaching practicums and work experiences have been with these students. In hopes of supporting these students/children further, I became interested in pursuing clinical psychology or education programs. As a new volunteer at the SEDI lab, I am looking to gain valuable research experience and knowledge in social-emotional development, so that I can prepare myself for future programs and teaching experiences.
