Veronika Orsanska

Honours Thesis Student

I am a fifth year Psychology Specialist student at University of Toronto Mississauga. My great interest in developmental psychology and working with children led me to Dr. Malti’s lab two years ago. I first joined the lab as a Research Opportunity Program (ROP) student. After this experience, I became passionate about research and was eager to learn more about children’s social and emotional development. I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to conduct an Independent Research Project at Dr. Malti’s lab last year. Both of these invaluable experiences allowed me to learn many theoretical and practical research skills that I hope to apply in my future academic and professional career. As currently approaching my fifth year as an undergraduate student, I will be conducting an Undergraduate Thesis project that will look at youth’s perceptions of mental health.
